2020 First Communion and Confirmation Happening as planned.

Do to the previous shut down the spring sacraments had to be rescheduled. First Communion is planned for August 1 and August 8, both at 11am. Confirmation is scheduled for August 14th, at 7pm.

In the last several weeks there has been a lot of uncertainty lately and several of you have reached out to ask about the status of the upcoming sacraments.  We are proceeding as planned.  Our parish has done a wonderful job following the original guidelines set out when public masses resumed in May.  The recent limit of the size of gatherings from the Governor is regarding social gatherings, not religious.  Also, Archbishop Kurtz has stated that Churches can continue to hold services as long as we follow the safety guidelines (you can read his statement here).
If everyone follows the guidelines we have sent out (mask wearing, social distancing, and limiting the number of guests) then we will continue to meet the requirements established to allow us to safely worship.  We continue to strive to keep capacity at 30% (which for St. Aloysius is 330 people).   Keep in mind we will be live streaming each sacrament on our parish Facebook page.  So family members that are not able to come in person can watch at home.  Just have your friends and family follow our page, https://www.facebook.com/staloysius/ .
If you have any further questions please reach out.  We hope this answers some of your questions and gives you peace of mind.  If anything changes we will be sure to let everyone know ASAP. If you have further questions contact the parish office.

Flocknote: Have Your Emails Stopped?

Flocknote is our communication tool the parish uses to send emails and texts, informing the parish of upcoming activities and announcements. If you have not signed up for Flocknote yet, it is easy and just takes a few minutes. https://staloysiuspwv.flocknote.com/everyone.

Having problems receiving emails? Did your emails stop?

There are a few reasons you may not be receiving emails, or your emails may have stopped:

The emails may be going to your spam folder:
Please add mail@flocknote.com to your address book or safe sender list to make sure that the emails are not being sent to your junk or spam folder. If the emails are appearing in your junk folder, be sure to mark them as ‘Not Spam’ or ‘Not Junk’.

Your email address may not be verified:
If you joined Flocknote on your own and you weren’t added by an admin of your church or organization, Flocknote sent you a verification email to make sure you were the owner of the email address and that there weren’t any typos in your email address. If you never verified your email address, the system will not send the emails to you. In order to verify your email address, please login to Flocknote and click the ‘verify’ button located under your email address. Or you can email us at help@flocknote.com and we can verify it for you.

Your emails may have been bouncing back to us:
When there are multiple reports of problems delivering emails to your email address, Flocknote will mark your address as not verified and will stop sending emails to that address. When your address is not verified, Flocknote will not send emails to you. Email a Happiness Engineer at help@flocknote.com and we’ll be happy to get you verified! Adding mail@flocknote.com to your address book or safe sender list should prevent your email provider from bouncing the emails back to us or marking them as spam or junk.

You may be forwarding the emails and becoming unsubscribed:
Emails sent from Flocknote always contain a link in the bottom right hand corner to ‘Unsubscribe’. This link is unique to the original recipient of the email. If you forward the email to anyone, they will have the power to unsubscribe you. Instead of forwarding the emails, we encourage you to share a link to the note instead.

Still having trouble?
If none of the above resolved your email delivery problem, please send an email to us at help@flocknote.com and we can check in on things for you. We typically respond in less than an hour (if you send your email during office hours)
