Ministers of Holy Communion

Ministers of Holy Communion are fully initiated members of the community, having received the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist and mandated by the Archbishop. The primary responsibility of a Minister of Holy Communion is to hold and distribute the consecrated bread and wine during Mass. Ministers also take the Eucharist to the sick and shut-ins of the parish. There are formation programs provided within the parish for this ministry. All interested parishioners are welcome to participate in this ministry once training is completed.
