Many people from St. Aloysius preparing for Christian Initiation participated in the Rite of Election (for the catechumens -- the unbaptized) and the Call to Continuing Conversion for the baptized candidates.  Please continue to keep them in your prayers.

At the Rite of Election, the Archbishop declared the catechumens to be elect (pictured at right), chosen by God for the sacraments this Easter.  The Archbishop also recognized the desire of the baptized candidates for the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist within the Catholic community.  All but two candidates were able to attend the Call to Continuing Conversion at St. Patrick.

All of the elect and candidates were warmly greeted by Archbishop Kurtz following the rites.
